Our Staff
Dr. Daniel Gailis DMD
Daniel Gailis was born and raised in Klamath Falls. Growing up, he attended local schools including Klamath Union High school and graduated in the year 2000. After high school, he completed his undergraduate studies at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington with a Bachelors degree in Biology. GO ZAGS! In 2008, Daniel obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Oregon Health Science University where he graduated with honors. Daniel then returned to his hometown of Klamath Falls to work in public health at the Klamath Open Door Dental Clinic, providing dental care to the many underserved citizens of the Basin for two years. In the Fall of 2010, Dr. Gailis joined the Tucker Dental Group which is now know as Tucker & Gailis Dental. Dr. Gailis and his wife have two rambunctious little boys that keep them both very busy. While not at work or spending time with the family, Daniel often enjoys the many recreational activities that can be found throughout the Klamath Basin. In his spare time, he enjoys trail running, biking, fly fishing, and skiing. Dr. Gailis is the current president of the Klamath Dental Society and strives to educate patients about the importance of dental health as well as provide the best care possible.
Dr. Theresa Tucker DDS
Theresa Tucker is a General Dentist and has practiced in Klamath Falls for nearly five years. She was born and raised in rural Oregon near Silverton. The daughter of a grass seed farmer, she grew up working in all manners on the farm. She is the youngest of a very tight knit family of eight and is still very close with her siblings. Theresa attended Oregon State University in Corvallis, and received her Doctorate from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
When not working, Theresa can usually be found with her husband, Tyler, and her two Golden Retrievers. She is drawn to Southern Oregon because of her love of the outdoors, and whether she’s biking or skiing in the mountains, or running road and trail races, she always has a smile on her face.

Susie Daniels, R.D.H.
Graduated from OIT Dental Hygiene Program in 1987. She has worked for Dr. Tom Tucker since Jan 1990. Susie and her husband Ed have a daughter Courtney and a son named Cade. Courtney recently graduated from high school and is attending Oregon Institute of Technology and Cade is a student at Hosanna Christian School.
Karen Brown, R.D.H.
Graduated from the OIT Dental Hygiene program in 1994. She has worked for the practice since June 1997. Karen and her husband Chuck have 2 daughters, Christine and Taylor. Christine is a local cosmetologist and Taylor is in college pursuing her dental hygiene degree just like mom.
Kelsey Hammond R.D.H.
Graduated from the OIT Dental Hygiene program in 2009. She has worked for the Tucker/Gailis Dental Group since March 2010. Kelsey and her husband Luke, who is the Henley Boys Basketball coach, have two beautiful children together.
Sherrie Paynter R.D.H.
The newest member to our wonderful group of Hygienist. Sherrie works part time for the practice doing hygiene and the other half of her time she spends working at the Oral Surgeons office as a surgery assistant. Sherrie graduated from the OIT Dental Hygiene program in 1990. She has worked for the Tucker/Gailis Dental Group since September of 2017.
